At the beginning of each school year Seattle Pacific University asks its students to volunteer in the community for a day as part of its CityQuest program.
This year 800 new and returning SPU students will be working with 32 community service organizations across the city and at least 4 groups of students will be volunteering on Beacon Hill.
Craig Thompson has the details at Beacon Lights.
