Iguana on the Loose

Driving down the hill on Atlantic on Saturday morning we were stopped at 17th by an igunana in the middle of the street.

It was pouring down rain and as we scrambled to call animal control it sauntered into the bushes headed toward the Mountains to Sound Greenway trail.

Half an hour later the animal control agent called to tell me, "We couldn't find it."

Wendi over on the Beacon Hill blog discovered the owner's craigslist ad asking folks to be on the look out.

Then last night I drove by and saw the painted pick-up truck window you see pictured above outside a house on 17th.

The message says, "Lost iguana!!!  Atlantic and 17th  (206) 321-2135  Could be in a tree"
